Traditionally a key centrepiece to any wedding celebration has been the wedding cake. Increasingly, couples are turning away from the three-tiered dense fruitcake and looking for creative wedding alternatives. We believe an ideal show-stopping centrepiece for your wedding breakfast is a tower of delicious macarons. Available as 7, 8 ,9 or 10 tiers featuring whatever flavour combination you'd like to delight your guests with.
A Nice Day for a White Wedding
For the perfect wedding, a lot of elements need to come together on the same day. Letting us take care of any sweet treats you are planning to offer your guests is one less thing for the bride and groom to worry about. One of the many great things about macarons is that they come in a variety of colours – so we can even theme a macaron tower to your colour scheme!
Our macarons come with the stand, are easy to put together and can be collected up to 7 days in advance. A great way to tick an essential test off your to do list! Better yet, send one of your wedding party to collect it.
A Favour for a Friend
We can also help you out with boxes of wedding favours. Most of the delicacies that we produce can be served in the required portion size, boxed or wrapped and elegantly finished with a coloured or patterned ribbon. We find 2 or 3 macarons work best in our boxes, neatly wrapped with a ribbon colour of your choice.
The tradition of supplying wedding guests with a little packaged and personalised gift of their own is an ancient one. In 16th Century England, hand-tied love knots were distributed to guests. Handing out sweet treats is not a new tradition either. Historically, in Europe, bonbonnieres (small boxes designed to carry sweets) containing five sugared almonds were given out at weddings. The almonds represented health, wealth, happiness, longevity and fertility.
