Putting together a Macaron Tower couldn't be easier. We've listed out the steps here for you to follow, with a handy video guide too.
- Check you have all your stand pieces. There should be 10 tiers and two stand pieces.
- Take your two stand pieces and interlock them as shown in the video. Place on the flat surface that you will be serving on as they are not easy to move.
- Start with the largest tier piece and stack them on top of each other. Make sure to apply a little pressure so they are firmly in place before moving onto the next.
- Starting from the bottom start slotting your macarons onto the tower vertically. You can arrange them however you like, one tier per colour, in an ombre effect or random.
- Add any optional extras you like, we've opted for gypsophila in ours but you can use any flowers you like (make sure they're not dangerous to eat, as there's always one that will try) or swirl ribbons around your tower.
TOP TIPS
We will send you a 10 tiered tower even if you only order 7, simply skip the largest tier pieces that you don't need.
Don't start loading your tower unless it is in its serving position, they are not easy to move once full.
The top tier piece is very small and can easily be lost, please keep an eye on it.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long can a Macaron Tower be on display?
This really depends on where your tower is being served and the temperature of the room. For example in a wedding reception tent in the midday sun in July, then not long at all. Depending on the temperature the buttercream and chocolate ganache will start to melt within an hour. However at a Christmas party in December, away from any heating then it could sit out for 4-6 hours.
Please use your own judgement and choose a location away from direct heat and serve as close to the time you are going to consume your macarons as possible.
How many Macarons should I serve per person?
Usually 1-2 macarons per person will suffice.
However it depends how you are serving them. If this is your dessert option for your event you will need more. If your macarons are a petit four served with coffee after a meal, then 1 each is enough. You may also want to consider the length of time you are serving them for, the longer the tower is on display the more people will circle back to choose another flavour but if you serve later into the evening many people will be full and not need a sweet treat.
How many tiers do I need?
Once you have decided how many Macarons you need per person you can choose the right size tower. Here is a breakdown of how many macarons are included in a tower:

Number of Macarons |
7 (minimum) |
106 |
